Project Overview

1

OBJECTIVE

To monitor consumption, reduce demand and utilise alternatives for two other Atterbury Properties facilities (Sterland Mall and The Wedge)

2

SOLUTION

Alligned with our first step, we installed Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) devices to monitor consumption and flow profiles. We did a lot of work to reduce consumption by increasing efficiencies (tap aerators, toilet flushing mechanisms) and eliminating waste (leaks, over irrigation, faulty mechanism). We then designed and installed backup systems and rainwater harvesting with filtration.

3

RESULTS

Since we started with their first building in 2018, we have reduced consumption by a total of 12 million liters over the 2 sites, of which 3 million litres was harvested rainwater and groundwater. One of the sites have vast amounts of groundwater in the basement, which we now treat and supply to the building
