Project Overview

1

OBJECTIVE

Management of water demand at ADvTECH facilities

2

SOLUTION

Monitoring devices were installed in order to determine the water use at the schools. This information was used to create water use reduction plans that are site specific to the school's water consumption. These plans include installing water efficiency devices - interrupted flushing mechanisms and either flow regulators or aerators on taps depending on the existing infrastructure. Additionally pressure reducing valves and strainers are installed on the main water lines - acting as a form of preventative maintenance. Lastly maintenance and security staff are trained on monitoring and reporting water leaks as well as installing water efficiency devices. Awareness training distributed to staff and students #surpluswater2025

3

RESULTS

Target schools in order to reach staff and students about water scarcity and #surpluswater2025. Assist in decreasing the water consumption at schools. Provide monitoring data to prevent high consumption or running leaks in future.
